WWI US Army 27th Division Grouping M1917 Helmet & Gas Mask withUnit History Books

Original WWI Era US Army AEF 27th Division Soldier's Grouping - ID'd to: Louis Kroc. This grouping consists of the following items.

1 US M1917 Helmet with complete liner and chin strap. The shell has a handpainted 27th Divison Emblem. On the chin strap is written the name: Louis Kroc.

The helmet is in Very Nice condition, considering it is over 100 years old. 2 US M 1917 Gas Mask with Bag.

The Gas Mask is complete with the mask, hose and cannister. The mask is still flexible, hose is starting to stiffen.

Still has the original Instruction card and tube of anti-dim cloth. The bag has a hand painted 27th Division Emblem and is named to: Louis Kroc. 3 Portrait photo of Louis Kroc in his Period Uniform. 4 A first edition set of "The Story of the 27th Division" Volumes I & II, written by Major General John F. O'Ryan, published in 1921.

This is a Unit History Book of the 27th Division during the Great War. This would make a wonderful addition to your WWI Era Collection.
