WWI US Army AEF M1912 Leather Swivel Holster Colt M1911.45acp Pistol Commercial

WWI AEF US Army/USMC M1912 Leather Swivel Belt Holster for the Colt M1911. The holster is used, see photo's for condition.

The leather is still soft and supple. The leather has been dyed with a caramel color, no cracks or crazing. All stitching is still intact.

Still has the internal block. The leather leg strap is not present. It has the swivel attachment with the M1910 belt hook. It has the US marking on the front and is unmarked on the rear. This is one of the Commercial Variations, that was used at the time.

Nice original holster in very nice condition. This was the first pattern holster adopted by the US Army for the M1911 Pistol. Initally used by the Cavalry and Infantry Units during WWI.
