WWI US Army MODEL 1918 BATTERY COMMANDER PERISCOPE & BOX VERY NICE

Featuring a 6x magnification, this was used in the front line trenches for artillery and observation. Made by brass and aluminum, this Model 1918 US Army Battery Commander Periscope is in VERY NICE used condition! Featuring a 6x magnification, it does have some marks, scratches, and wear, but nothing that detracts. Optics are quite clear, but there is some spotting internally. These were used to help view and plot artillery attacks from behind cover, to avoid exposing the commander to danger. Model and manufacture info is stamped into the bottom, indicating. Also comes complete with the original box! The box itself is solid, however the leather straps have deteriorated.

Most of them are included, and are inside the box. Also included is an original cleaning cloth.

A PERFECT addition to any collection or display! Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage.
