Up for sale is a WWI US Army M1914 Mounted Cartridge Belt for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield Rifles. This belt has 9 pockets, with a blank space on the left side for the addition of a M1910 Magazine Pouch. The belt was designed to hold 18 Stripper clips for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield rifles. The belt is in used, see photo's for. No rips, tear, fraying or fading of color.
It has the early Khaki Color with the puckered pockets. It has the Russell Mfg. 1918 markings on the belt. This is an early belt without the snap for the M1910 Magazine Pouch.Nice Belt with that "Been There" look that is popular with collectors and reenactors. This would make a welcomed addition to any WWI Era Collection.
