WWI US MODEL 1913 PATTON CAVALRY SABER SWORD-SPRINGFIELD ARMORY-DATED 1914

Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI US Model 1913 Patton cavalry saber that is marked SA on the left side of the blade for production by Springfield Armory and dated 1914 with a flaming bomb proof. Opposite side of blade is marked US and serial number. This is the rare officer model with bright finished guard and steel scabbard.

35 ½ blade has beautiful original bright finish and no major nicks or dings. Still has original leather washer at the base. Remaining original bright plated finish shows some age toning. Plastic grips have a good tight fit and show some normal wear, no cracks or chips. Correct original steel scabbard has original bright plated metal finish showing some aged toning, and one small dent. A rare US M1913 Patton cavalry officer sword that will make an excellent addition to your collection.
