Good condition and guaranteed original WWI US Model 1917 bayonet, as used with the P17 Enfield rifle and trench shotguns with bayonet adaptors i. Marked W in circle on the left side of the blade for production by Winchester, and dated 1917. Right side ricasso has eagle head, flaming bomb, and U. Blade has correct original metal finish of blue at the base and remaining bright-gray.

Remaining metal finish is original blue showing some grind marks and wear. Wood grips have been lightly sanded. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has steel throat and tip and brass belt hook. Leather shows some normal wear, stitching and staples are nice and tight.

A scarce and desirable Winchester mfg. Model 1917 bayonet that will make a great addition to your collection.
