WWI USMC Marine Corps AEF M1917 Dismounted Cartridge Belt for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield - Marked: LONG 1918 - Round Flap Version - Unissued Condition - RARE. Up for sale is a WWI Era USMC Marine Corps M1917 Dismounted Cartridge Belt for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield Rifles. This is the "Round Flap" Version, which is generally attributed to usage by the USMC.

The round flap version of this belt is somewhat RARE and difficult to find. This belt has 10 Pockets. The belt was designed to hold 20 Stripper clips for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield rifles. The belt is Unissued, see photo's for Condition. All seams are intact, no fraying.

No evidence of any real prior usage. It has the early Khaki Tan Color. It is faintly marked: LONG 1918 on each side of the belt and on the center adjusting belt.
